Summer Programs Overview

Information and FAQ

Information & FAQs

Are Brilliant Summer camps co-ed?
Yes!  Most Brilliant Summer camps are co-ed and designed with boys and girls in mind. Some of our sports camps are for girls only, and this is specified in the camp session title.

Does my child have to be enrolled at St. Catherine’s or St. Christopher to attend Brilliant Summer?
Most of our camps are open to the public! The only exceptions are: Upper School for-credit courses, Back to School classes and St. Catherine’s Robotics Team Camps. These classes are for enrolled St. Catherine’s students only.

What should my child bring/wear to camp?
We play at camp and sometimes get messy! Please have your child wear closed toe shoes and comfortable clothes that can get dirty. Pack a filled water bottle and at least one healthy snack.

What if my child has allergies or needs to take medication during camp?
Please fully complete the Camper Medical Form that is part of your Camp Brain registration. All medication (including over the counter medications) must be submitted to the camp nurse with a  Medication Consent Form, signed by a physician for any prescription medications. Please contact the Brilliant Summer Director, Susan Lindsay, to discuss any specific medical needs or concerns. She will work directly with the camp nurse and instructor(s) about your child’s specific needs.

Registration

Online registration begins at noon on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Online registration is first-come, first-served and is confirmed when submitted with a down payment. You can go back online at any time to check your schedule or to add a session. After registering, all future changes in registration must be made in writing via email submitted to the Brilliant Summer office: BrilliantSummer@St.Catherines.org

Registration for camp sessions will close one week prior to the session start date.  If a session is full, you may join the waitlist. We reach out to families on the waitlist in the order in which they joined the waitlist.  If a spot becomes available, we will contact you with the information provided in your registration. After 48 hours, if we have not received a response, we will move to the next family on the waitlist. The Brilliant Summer Program admits students of any race, color, nationality or ethnic origin.

Full payment with all applicable fees is due on or before June 2. Payments by check should be made payable to Brilliant Summer at St. Catherine's.
