Strategic Plan

Foundation & Future

Our youngest students will spend nearly four times longer on this campus than they will at their chosen college or university, and we embrace that responsibility. For each of those students, St. Catherine’s is where she will learn to love learning.

On our campus, she will be welcomed and welcome, be challenged and challenge, be inspired and inspire.

On our pathways, flanked by bricks engraved with the names of current students, honored faculty, and alumnae from decades ago, she’ll walk with generations of Saints and add her experience to their legacy.

On our Green, she’ll run and laugh and read with peers who will become lifelong friends.

In our chapel, she will have time for spiritual reflection and appreciation for the community of faiths who share that sacred space.

In our classrooms, she’ll develop lasting connections with faculty members and advisors.

On our fields and on our stages, she’ll discover her potential beyond the classroom.

Process

The input of the St. Catherine’s community has been invaluable in the creation of this Strategic Plan. From multiple years of survey results, including specific strategic planning surveys to parents and Upper School students, to listening sessions and one-on-one interviews with hundreds of parents, alumnae, faculty, and staff, the voices of the St. Catherine’s community guided this work. We would like to express our gratitude to the St. Catherine’s Board of Governors and Strategic Planning Committee for their thoughtful leadership and insights.
